Yes always great customer service
I noticed a strange noise coming from the transmission area while in the lower gears. I took my 97 Chevy 4 x 4 to 3 different shops before I went to Kern Transmission. The first two shops didn't know what to do. The third shop said the minimum fee would be 900 dollars and that MIGHT fix the problem. I finally took my truck to Ken at Kern Transmission and he was able to identify the problem and replaced the snap ring on the transfer case for 165.00. They have work on all my cars and have had 0 problems. I like the fact that he's real about everything he does or won't do. I've gone to guys before that said "oh yeah I can fix it for you " then make it worse than what it was. So if he tells me he wont touch it, that means sireus stuff. So people who want to act a fool when a GOOD mechanic says he wont work on something, need to grow up and appreciate the help that they're giving you. Have a great day.
