They check my eyes and Dr said I HAVE CATARATS, ON BOUTH EYES, AND HE SAID I NEED SURGERY ON BOUTH EYES SO THEY SEND ME FOR ALL CHECKUPS ON LAB XR ALL I NEEDED FOR SURGERY. SO WHEN THEY GIVE ME THE DATE FOR SURGERY THEY CALL ME TO CANCELL BECAUSE DR. WAS NOT THERE, SO THEY GIVE ME ANOTHER APPT. FOR 3 MONTHS AND. AGAIN SAME BLOOD WORK. AND THEY GIVE ANOTHER APPT FOR SURGERY AND WHAT MAKES ME MAD AND UPSET THEY CANCEL MY SURGERY BECAUSE DR. WENT TO ANOTHER STATE . SO I THINK ,WHY THEY PLAY WHITH AUR HELTH. THATS NOT FAIR. The doctor did not exam my dad properly, staff couldn't find his chart on the second appointment, and the Doctor performed the same exam twice, we wasted our time with 4 appointments and no referral to see a specialist. Now we see Western Eye institute and the first visit he was referred to a specialist and now my dad is being treated by California Retina Consultants. Please ask your PCP not to send you to this Kern Medical Eye Institute. Staff was nice though.
Just be prepared to be waiting for at least 2 hours. Arrive at 10am for my appointment didn’t leave until 1pm, but other than that the environment is pretty solid.
