The Kern River Valley Shelter is simply the best I have ever encountered! The staff are the most caring people regarding their animals and adoptive parents, us...🐱

don't come here! they're rude and they have horrible customer service!!! especially Nancy!!! they should close this place down or get better people to work here! if you're not happy with your job ,just quit!!!!!!! Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu .

the perfect place to find the perfect pet animals are vaccinated spayed or neutered and microchipped you're not going to ever find a better deal

They may claim to help, but some of the animals are abused and neglected. Because many on staff are volunteers there is no background check or behavioral aptitude assessment. There ARE animals in desperate need of adoption. They keep the sick, uncooperative, and unfriendly animals isolated from the public behind closed doors as to NOT see the deplorable conditions to which they are kept.
