Overall this shelter does a great job. They keep it clean and run special promotions to help keep the animals moving out of there. If you look at all the veterinary care along with micro chipping that they provide for the price it’s very reasonable. No organization is going to be perfect, but they seem to care about the animals and seem to take great care of the critters!

My daughter adopted a dog. A few days after arriving home it started getting sick. Took it to vet. $500 bill for whipworm. Now because of the incubation period it DID NOT Contract it at her home but at the shelter or before it arrived at shelter. BUYER BEWARE the shelter makes you sign an as-is agreement and bears no responsibility for pawning off sick animals. They are no different than a puppy mill. Zero responsibility for giving you a sick animal. Make sure you’re prepared for weeks of vomiting and hundreds of dollars los... read more

A big thank you to the officers that came out on a Sunday call! Two mornings dove flew in our garage, one find its way out, the other panicked and flew over the water heater in the corner and fell in and couldnt get out. We couldnt get it out cause the heater was hard wired in and strapped in and we didnt want the bird to die and rot there either or burn up if the heater kicked on. They used snake tongs to get it out at top over the heater and up. whew!
