Waited about 3 months for an appointment which, lasted about 30 minutes, however, my health insurance was billed for a 75 minute visit. A problem arose from a standard diagnostic test. The previous cardiologist treated it with standard medications, not ones tailored to my rare condition. Dr Salvo made no changes in treatment but, wanted to wait for months for insurance to cover the same diagnostic test to determine treatment. I had been hospitalized twice prior to being referred to Dr. Salvo. He was the first Dr to realize and understand the severity and complicated situation I was in. he had a course of action within seconds of meeting me. Had I not seen Dr. Salvo when I did I wouldn't be here today. I am forever grateful to Dr Salvo. I would definitely recommend Dr Salvo to anyone in need of a cardiologist.
I was referred to Dr Salvo for a pre-surgical consult. His office scheduled my appointment pretty quickly, because the surgeon wanted to operate as soon as I had cardiac clearance. When I walked into the office waiting room, it was FULL of several dozen people. I thought I was going to have to wait a long time, even though there a several other dictors in the practice. Dr. Salvo saved me in 2012. I have both respect and confidence in Dr. Salvo. He takes time answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Salvo without hesitation.
Dr. Salvo found my heart problem that many other doctors could not diagnose. He implanted a loop recorder that monitored my heart function continuously. He also ran additional tests and concluded I needed a pacemaker. That solved my problem and I continue to do well. He is my electrical cardiologist, and I trust him totally. He also actually saved my wife’s life. We would recommend him to anyone that has heart problems.
Dr Salvo has been my dad’s cardiologist for approx 10 yrs now. He is also my step mom’s heart doctor. He is always very professional & personable with my dad & step mom. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is a very caring & compassionate physician! Thank you for your wonderful care that you provide to your patients & their families, Dr Salvo. We are very grateful & appreciative for all that you do for both my parents! You have literally added years to both their lives!
wish I could negative stars. I’m not one to review a place, but STAY AWAY from this arrogant ignorant rude doctor - Jared Salvo - who, ironically, has no heart. I drove two hours to meet with this “doctor” who rolled his eyes at me as I told him my history. I understood more about my illness at the time than he did. The staff lied to me and said he was an expert in my illness. He disregarded everything I said. He did nothing for me and provided zero insight into my issue.
