We've used Steve Kephart twice already and we enjoy working with him. He is reliable, trustworthy and delivers good work. We've used him for an appraisal for the property tax appeal and his comps were accepted by the Board of Review. Our house is hard to value so we are grateful for the comps he was able to find.

I cannot say enough good things about Kephart Appraisal and Steve Kephart. He performed an estate valuation for us and was a pleasure to work with, easy to schedule, pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable. The bank picked them as appraiser. Great people to work with but clearly did not do any research on outbuildings for my appraisal. On site they asked what paid to build my outbuilding and because I did all the labor it was cheap to build. The value it’s certainly much higher. In the finished appraisal they used the number I told them which was only cost of materials. Lesson learned at high cost to me. “Don’t ever give a appraiser a number, make them do their job” your reply proves my point, you didn’t look into what people a... read more
