I would strongly advise against renting from Kenyon House Apartments, managed by American Housing Management. My experience in this building was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I moved in, I encountered a litany of issues that made my time there miserable. From the beginning, the apartment was in dismal condition. Run and find somewhere better in DC for your own sake. Borger does not own this property anymore (sold May 2023) and there are SO many better places at similar price points in the district. This new management company has no problem mistreating tenants and being negligent. I got out as fast as I could once my lease was up and it has been the best decision I could have made. This is hands down the worst apartment that I have ever lived in. I would advise anyone not to move here unless it is your only option. Property management is absolutely horrible. Consider other options if you are able.
