A clearly knowledgeable, caring and courteous doctor who cares for the patient much more than the money.
Dr. Small is great. I saw my Opthalmologist (Dr. Macy, who is also excellent) and he discovered that I had a torn retina after I experienced dark streaks in my vision. He referred me to Dr. Small, who is a retina specialist. A couple zaps with a laser (which wasn't painful, maybe a little uncomfortable for a few seconds), and the problem was solved. I had great medical care with Dr Kent Small. Unfortunately, his office and billing staff has been atrocious and negate all of his great care. Most recently, a series of billing errors resulted in incorrectly reporting to a collections agency and my credit score dropped by 30+ points. I saw Dr Small annually and his office actually owed me money at the same time the error was made. First they tried to insist this was my fault and then they provided little help to get this matter resolved or get the negative credit item remove... read more
