I moved in Kensington Place with my wife back when we were first married in 2009. The park is nicely groomed, and it was nice to be able to use the community kitchen when we had larger parties. For an older park, it is well kept. The grass is always cut and in the summer, the pool is the place to be for most of the park. Lived there for years. Lot rent is way too high for such an old park. Management treats people like scum no matter what kind of tenant you are. Do yourself a favor find one in Wixom or Northville. They also want way too much money for trailers built in the 70s. Lots of riff raff there as well now. Unfortunate because it used to be a nice place to live.
I bought a trailer here last year around this time and so far I have enjoyed living here. My trailer was for sale way below what it was worth and it was freshly painted and carpeted when I bought it. Its a pretty quite place for the most part, you have your occasional neighbor that likes to play their music too loud, too late into the night, but if you contact the Oakland County Sheriffs department they usually come quickly to stop them from doing it. My husband and I moved in here last may of 2011 and were happy. We live on a corner lot. The neighbors are very nice and its quite not to loud for us. It depends on what street you live on but we pick a good street because were people that like to keep quite and keep to oursleves. They have good prices on trailers. We bought ours for 500 but they remodle the inside of them. We have new carpet , new windows,and blinds. It also is painted. Im happy we moved here. The management is nice .
