Although Dr. Jeffers seems like a nice man, he did make me travel with my young daughter to his office time and time again for unnecessary reasons; sometimes he would have us follow up on an appointment and when we got there he would ask why we were even there! It seems like he just wanted us to come in numerous times so that he could charge our insurance over and over again. His nurse is also the worse! She was rude and not helpful at all. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND HEADACHE.
My Daughter had a club foot and Dr. Jeffers did a great job to fit it when she was 1 years old now she is 4 years old, nobody Can tell anything was wrong with her foot until I tell them. The service great across the board.
Dr. Jeffers was impatient with me and my son. He would only communicate directly with my husband and seemed annoyed when I asked questions. I had concerns that my sons casts were causing blisters. When I called the office I was only able to speak to a medical assistant, even though we were told to call anytime. The MA said he would not remove the casts until after the 6 weeks, per policy. We went to another md to have cast removed and there were large blisters. No follow up from his office.
My daughter was born with a rockerbottom foot (vertical talus) and Dr. Jeffers was her doctor. He tried multiple things to try to prevent surgery but none of them worked. She had surgery when she was a year old and she learned how to walk in her cast. My daughter is 13 years old now and is in her 8th year of dance and is also in track. Now she only has to be seen every 3 years by a dr in Dallas, Tx at Scotish Rights Hospital due to us living in Texas now. I would recommend Dr Jeffers to anyone!!
