Misdiagnosed my child which lead to a delay in access to appropriate services. Dr Vasa told us to change his diet and try Karate, without even asking what our home diet and activities are (his diet was already what she wanted us to change it to and we are a martial arts family, so clearly her assessment skills are quite lacking). From the time I requested my children to be added, removed from the wait list at different times I always felt comfortable asking questions and following up on outstanding concerns. I was also able to verify and update health insurance coverage prior to any appointments being scheduled. Our in-person & virtual appointments were excellent, everyone that we interacted with were pleasant and professional. Thank you all for your patience and for the support that we needed!

I received an email acknowledging that I had begun the CARD application on 9/14/22. Had it all completed with documents turned in on 9/19/22 and got a confirmation that it was officially accepted/received 9/21/22. In April of the next year I called and emailed to see where we were on the waitlist. A lady responded by email that said she could see that they received my report in September and there was a 13mos wait for a follow up evaluation that puts us being seen in October 2023.
