I'm celebrating the very successful completion of a four month-long process to replace a failed and broken crown that had allowed gum tissue to invade in under the sides at the gum line. This involved a "crown lengthening" process using state of the art laser surgery, several weeks of treatment to strengthen new gum tissue and finally, the design and creation of a new crown using an in-house CAD-CAM system that scans the existing teeth to create a visual model of the new crown and then "mills" it from a small block of cerami... read more
