For what you get, the food is over priced. The hiring practices are bad, I know too many people who've worked here and been screwed over. Maxwell's is better.
The Outer Space Band was amazing!!!!!!!! The food was really good. I felt like I was in a scene from a movie with the Ocean as the back drop and the lights just enhanced the whole mood. I would go back in a heart beat!

Fried clams were fabulous and Paige Wood, bartender, was excellent! Cannot wait to go back!
Had a scallop poor boy, cost $16.00 only four small scallops on it. It is a tourist tape even in the winter.
The most tender fried clams, ever....fries weren't as expected. :(
First time there we sat on the river deck in the summer, and he was almost knocked out cold because a gust of wind -kicked up one of the improperly weighted umbrella tables next to us, wasn't even asked if he was alright by management, let alone our waitress who witnessed the incident. It took forever to get food, I don't even remember what I got if that tells you anything about the taste. Go somewhere else for food. It's an expensive tourist trap.
The U.S. Power Squadron, Wawanock chapter, held it's annual Christmas lucheon/party at Kennebec Tavern on Dec.10, 2016. I can't say enough how great the food and service was. Elaine ( the Hostess ) was attentive to all our needs. The food was hot, plentiful, and Delicious! A great time was had by all and no complaints. We will hold future meetings there.
Awesome. Great food, friendly service. Clean. Very nice experience.
