I initially rated Dr. Perkins-Baker five stars, but after my experience, I feel compelled to warn others. When I sought her help for my missing periods, she dismissed my concerns, misdiagnosed me with a condition I didn’t have, and approached my situation with judgment rather than care. Her failure to listen delayed the proper diagnosis of a hormonal imbalance, which has now led to ovarian cysts requiring surgery. I had a good experience with staff and doctor Baker for my prenatal care, but after that it was horrible. There was a disagreement between my insurance and Dr. Baker’s office about what they wanted to bill and what my insurance wanted to pay. I understand that this happens sometimes but it was handled very poorly by Dr. Baker’s staff.
