Cheap? I think not!!! – Kelly's voted as one of the best cheap eats? I believe hardly so!!! It is neither the best or cheap. Maybe 20 years ago. But not any longer. It has lost its original flavor in my opinion.
not like it used to be – The first Kellys was great. They should close the one in Saugus it is just terrible and the prices are now way to high for what it is.
5 – The food was once great when it was only in Revere. Since has has started to chain out the food quality has gone down hill and the pricing is slightly over priced. It sells on the name only
nothing like it – Revere Beach location. Great outdoor fare. Everything from hot dogs to lobster sandwiches and roast beef is beautifully presented on paper service in a bag for your transport convenience to the beach wall. Romance depends on your partner's accomodation to beach behavior.
The emporer's clothes. – Note the zip code. I'm a local who thinks that unless it's 3 AM and you're drunk you've made a bad decision. This place simply needs to be debunked. Some things are fine some like the signature roast beef are just awful. Besides, you have to eat the food either in your car or across the street sitting on gull dropping.
Catch a wave and then catch a bite – Kelly is conveniently located right across form the Revere Beach. So after a bathing in the sun or a refreshing swim Kelly's is a great place to sink your teeth into their classic mouth-watering roast beef sandwiches. If you don't like the sandwiches, their fries are absolutely gratifying, with their soft rich inside and crisp, crunchy outside who can beat the enjoyment of Kelly's.
Beach Fries – A Boston classic, seaside, enjoy great crispy fries and great food. Fries are perfectly fried--nice golden color...cripsy never soggy. YUMMMMM
We need Kelly's in Arizona! – I have never been disappointed with the food at Kelly's! The sandwiches are huge (enough for two meals) and the roast beef is GREAT! It is my first stop every time I go back to MA!!
Overrated – I used to race to Kelly's in a cab at 2am on Saturday to grab a scallop plate before I prepared for my morning hangover. I'd also go there to satisfy a craving for a roast beef or fried clams. Then Kelly's started to believe their own hype, started to raise prices A LOT, give you more fries and less seafood and expand with other locations so the quality suffered. What a disappointment. They used to be great.
