The best Roast Beef Sandwich in USA – Have been going there for over 25 years...and the quality and size of there roast beef sandwiches can't be beat..and I was raised and went to school in Boston and now live in Dallas. No return trip to Boston is complete without getting a Kelly's sandwich
Kelly's is "Klassic" – Kelly's has been a family owned business for about 50 years and many of the workers are long term. This leads to consistant quality and good customer service.
Good but far from cheap – The food is good, roast beef is piled high on the sandwiches and the seafood is pretty good too. The clam chowder is too thin and runny for my tastes, more like clams and potatoes in milk. This restaraunt hardly belongs in the cheap eats section tho, an average take out tab for my family of three (2 adults and a 9 yr old) runs $30-$40. Go there for the good food but don't expect a bargain.
Worth the trip, Fried Clams, Ocean front – Been going there for years.They built one in Saugus, but find the Revere Beach one has the original great food.Plus, you get the Atlantic Ocean view, for free.
Roastbeef Exstravaganza – Best roastbeef and onion rings ever. All the food is supperior. This is the Best food ever.
great food – I love Kelly's roast beef. I used to go there all the time as a kid. If your ever in BOston you should deffinatly check it out.
VERY UNEXCEPTIONAL FRIES – The fries at Kelly's are not crispy, have very little salt and are just generally NOT some of the best fries in the city of Boston.
I liked the fish better – I usually pick at the food. It's okay and fries are good but I'd rather just sit there in front of the salt water tank and watch the tropical fish for hours. I hope that's not where they get their fillet o' fish from.
Simply the best – There is NOTHING better than a Kelly's Roast Beef sandwich and fries at 2:00 a.m. in July. The original outdoor, no seating, Revere Beach location is better than the newer locations.
