I feel Dr. Hendricks saved my husbands life in 2015. We came to him after TRK replacement that did not go well. My husband had staff infection from his original surgery. We were so pleased with Dr. Hendricks and the staff at KU Med.

I was looking for a direct , no nonsense surgeon that is detailed in everyway.I was pleased to find Dr. Kelly Hendricks. If that is the kind of doctor you are looking for, you have it with Dr. Hendricks!
Great surgeon. When I first met with Dr. Hendricks in 2016, I was very depressed due to the severity of my problem. Dr. Hendricks took my case and has changed my outlook and condition.
Dr. Hendricks was great. He really explained everything and he was very motivated and excited about his profession. He wanted to make sure everything was 100% positive. His follow up was very thorough, I would highly recommend him for any hip or knee replacement. You cannot go wrong with him. Great to talk too.

Dr. Hendricks is the best of the best! I've had two total knee replacements and both have gone well, just like he explained before hand. He has excellent bed side manner, takes time to listen, and explains so I understand. He's never in a hurry when seeing patients.

Highly recommend Dr. Kelly Hendricks. He has performed 2 complicated hip replacements on me, both times having to deal with infections that had settled in my previous prosthesis's. I have recommended him to several friends who all were completely satisfied also. Because of his great reputation, you might have to wait a while to get seen by him, but it's worth the wait.

Dr Hendricks has been my orthopedist for eleven years. I was in a wheelchair when I first met him.. He has brought me thru two large hurdles and I am still on my feet walking. To me, he is a wonderful doctor.

Like so many others I Showed up early & still waited an ALMOST TWO HOURS in waiting room. They took people as they check in - by NOT appointment time. My appt time was 11:30 & they took 12:30 & later before me. So appt times really don't mean anything. Hope doc is as great as supposed to be for being here all day.
