I have not went here yet but had many questions for a potential trip tomorrow and the person over the phone (tickets) took a lot of time to answer my questions and was very helpful! Thank you so much. I am looking forward to going tomorrow! ����
I've been using the ferry service for years and never really had a bad experience. Until yesterday. The girls at the ticket window were not friendly at all and looked and acted like they all hated their jobs. Train your employees on good customer service. Deck hands were awesome as usual and the ride was as expected!
Today, Quinton and I bought tickets to ride the ferry over to Kelley's Island. We were walking down to it when a guy shouted "RUN" okay, I understand that they are on a time schedule but leaving me when I'm almost halfway to the ferry? Rude and unacceptable. We get 10 feet away from the ferry and he raises the deck and LEAVES us standing there. TEN FEET. I HIGHLY do not recommend this ferry service, however the sweet lady at the gate refunded our money and acted as if this wasn't the first time this had happened.
It was peaceful there. A place to get away, enjoy the water and sun, and relax. It's about 2hrs from home for me and I appreciated a short drive that gave me what the ocean gives me. I'd go back for sure. Clean and quaint!!
I loved our trip. The island is beautiful, food was great, staff was friendly, the view was amazing. I only have 2 complaints: the golf carts are a nuisance. They turn in front of you and take up most available parking and the beach bathroom was disgusting. They should keep someone in the area cleaning it often.
I totally recommend the trip. The experience was relaxing and exciting at the same time. The employees were courteous and very efficient, including the young women who deboarded us and took our tickets. They were all smiling at us, even the ferry guys. And i think the cost for car and humans was very fair.
Little to no wait. Great customer service. Quick and knowledge able with our questions. I went over with my friend and we drove my car over. It was pricy, almost $80 round trip. But it was worth it.
Great relaxing � island and the casino restaurant is very good!!
