In his own words (after rudely cutting me off several times during my explanation of possible repair needed), I don’t like working on anything that anyone else has worked on. Only the stuff that doesn’t give me problems. Take it to someone else. What kind of mechanic is that? Disappointing.
This COMPLETE JERK who has NO clue what he's doing, charged me $80 for a full service & carb rebuild of my mower, because the ONLY guy who knows what he's doing (I think we ALL know him, HE HAS BEEN IN BIZ FOR MANY YEARS in Jeff) was recovering in the hospital. So after the 1st time I got my mower back from Goss, after a WEEK in his shop, it ran like CRAP & would Not stay started. I tested it right there, so I just LEFT it with him. There's a nice way to speak on the phone and to tell someone machine's are not repairable. He told me to leave them at his back yard and to text him my info, he never called back so I called him and he said asked me if I left junk there. It might be time for him to get out of this business. I'll be taking a man with me to pick up mowers. Maybe he'll act professionally then. Excellent service, knowledge, and communication. I tried to replace the engine in my mower, couldn’t get it running smoothly. Keith took the time to explain a couple simple fault points to me, then did research on an engine he’s unfamiliar with to understand the wiring and make the needed fix. Not only does my mower run better, but I know more about my unit to make repairs myself in the future. Give him time to work and time to respond and you won’t be let down.
