If you can go ANYWHERE else do it! The patient communication is terrible to non-existent. The billing is a nightmare. I was billed a second time, a year after my procedure. They told me both the Dr and the facility (which they do not own) get to bill for the procedure. I paid half the second bill and then it disappeared off the billing site! Upon calling I was told they can not find that bill or the money I paid!! Criminal!!! I will now pursue legal actions against them. I was waiting almost 3 hours in ER. The blond head lady that took my blood pressure was s I mewhat rude. Maybe she had a bad day. Once I got to the back. The staff seem alittle rude. Even the doctor somewhat. I dont think I will visit this place again. They seemed to be understaffed and seem to be somewhat rude. I have visited many er rooms due to illness and never had I felt that I would not get the best care. I walked out. I cryed when I got to my car. Dr. Bruns used the wrong sized prosthetic in my knee replacement - surgery May 2023 - he would never spend more than 2 minutes in follow up visits and offered no solutions to my ongoing pain, swelling and lack of motion for both straightening and bending. I finally found a surgeon who did a CT Scan and discovered the problem. He performed replacement surgery 9 moths after Bruns hacked me up and I am recovering wonderfully now. There are physiatrists and then there are physiatrists! Dr Moley is an expert in his field. He is patient and caring. At HSS he has the most up-to-date facilities and technology at his disposal and he uses them to the fullest, explaining everything thoroughly and carefully and patiently, from diagnosis to treatments and prognosis. He is a teacher and has top young doctors and fellows in training and working with him. Dr Facchina and his surgery nursing staff are truly amazing. They were highly professional and very friendly. Going through the procedure from admission and pre-surgery preparations and the actual surgery, surrounded by such an amazing team in a very friendly atmosphere was a memorable experience, thank you all.

Nelson Sabates should not be allowed to perform surgeries. He performed macular pucker surgery on my left eye, which left me partially blinded with extremely distorted vision. When I expressed my concern when the eye wasn't healing, he kept lying to me, by telling me it was getting better and the swelling just had to go down. He was also very condescending. Also after my cataract surgery on my right eye, a steroid was over-prescribed which resulted in my having to go to a corneal expert to save the eye. Please find anot... read more
