My husband and I went through four egg retrievals and one frozen embryo transfer with Dr. Silverberg. After every single retrieval Dr. Silverberg took the time to debrief with us, which consisted of everything from talking me out of multiple downward spirals to having an open discussion on what we could change in our protocol moving forward. Hansard was great. I am 36, went through four rounds of retrieval with only one normal embryo we transferred and got our rainbow baby girl. Dr. Hansard was personable, compassionate and honest. I am so happy with the results.
I am deeply concerned about the quality of care provided by Texas Fertility, particularly by Dr. Lisa Hansard. It appears that her primary motivation may be financial gain, rather than the well-being of her patients in the long term. I have severe endometriosis. I have had excision surgery by two of the best doctors in Massachusetts. I moved here and saw Kaylen had great reviews. So I went in- first red flag is that an “incredible endo” specialist could fit me in the next few days. I get there. I wait 45+ minutes for my appointment. All of my pain was invalidated. I was sobbing in pain during my ultrasound. He said all clear! YOU CANNOT FIND ENDOMETRIOSIS VIA ULTRASOUND. The fact that I know more about endo than Dr Silverberg is deeply disturbing. I cannot recommend Texas Fertility enough! My husband and I had been trying to conceive for awhile when we started our journey at Texas Fertility. Dr. Silverberg was so knowledgeable, kind and has a great bedside manner. He took something that can be so stressful and made it manageable. Dr. Silverberg's nurses are also so friendly and helpful! Where do I begin talking about Dr. Silverberg?! Hands down, he is the BEST fertility doctor here in Austin (and probably even in the world according to my current OBGYN). He is a HUGE asset to the fertility world without exaggeration. I highly recommend Dr. Silverberg and his nursing *dream* team for IVF in Austin. Dr. Silverberg's team helped me navigate 3 IVF retrievals, 2 transfers, and related surgeries from Jan 2021 thru Jan 2022. They adjusted my protocol along the way to maximize the outcome as we learned more together. At 39, I am pregnant with my first due in September.
