Well guys i highly recommend kayak instruction over in rowlett. The owner Dave was very helpful and great customer service. I ended up buying a jackson daytripper 12 and my wife getting the jackson Riviera tandem. I demoed 4 kayaks. The riviera, the big tuna, and 2 of his house brands. Ended up flipping the big tuna with my 4 year old son in it and i was kinda disappointed after all the good things I've heard about that particular model. i guess a sit on top is not for me. I rent from here many times throughout the year. I go solo, with friends or all my kiddos. Love it!
Dave Holl has such a heart for the community of Rowlett. Dave's programs help support high school and college students to work and learn valuable experiences. Plus all the groups and individuals that use the lake at paddle point park. I first met Dave in 2010 when Dave and his team sponsor a kayaking instruction at paddle point park for the environmental group at Coyle Middle School.
