My daughter scheduled an appointment and attended the appointment but was met with consistent rude comments from the first call to the last time she will ever walk through the doors. When she received the glasses, she had an issue and was greeted at the front desk with 'you just got them and they are already not good enough?'. Dr. Kautz is very down to earth and easy to talk to, as is his whole staff. He explained everything clearly, completely and answered all my questions. His staff does the same and are very welcoming to vets. I've been seeing him for the past couple years, and would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. was not accommodating; in fact he seemed bothered by my presence. I have MS which affects my balance, gait, and speech. I’m used to being at doctors’ offices where they are not only accommodating, but take care to understand my speech. Not only did Dr Katz keep telling me couldn’t understand me (I can be understood, but often I have to repeat myself and the listener needs to engage). I would not recommend Dr. Kautz to anyone. I felt like you were herded through on an assembly line. Nothing personal about it. My prescription was not explained to me and when I called with questions and left a message my call was never returned. I am not happy with my glasses, but I give up.

They were rude when we went in to get our kids glasses. Both kids stated after the visit they were rude. I let it go and when we went In to get their glasses I appolgized to my kids. The receptionist was so rude to my kids and we were never told the kids need bifocals and both kid's glasses had bifocals in them. The receptionist stated that they need to get use to them and deal with it. I was not happy. We are going to get a second opinion. Not a good place for kids

Bad service, wrong frames, bad fit, incorrect diagnosis for my grandson (9) who has perfect vision. After a very extensive exam that included photos of each eye Dr. Kautz prescribed expensive line-less bifocals. We ordered glasses for him in gray. They arrived RED and didn't fit but were told that we ordered red so we reluctantly accepted them. The frame broke on day two. Charged Medicaid twice. He had bad headaches so we took him to B.Clinic and found out he has perfect vision. Wow!

I went to their office for my children and myself. I brought 6 children and everyone was kind even when my 2 younger boys were overtired and kinda going bananas lol. We will definitely be back for any future eye needs. Thank you for helping my family 😊

Not a good doctor for kids . He was really snappy and rude . No patience for children at all. Also, the receptionist is pretty blah too

Kautz has made my vision in the last year debilitating. Wrong prescription, wrong lenses AND he is arrogant and insensitive. I made attempts to communicate my vision challenges and he didn't listen to a word I said. Very frustrating to pay a lot of money, be treated rudely and leave with worse vision than when coming in.
