Amenities are good. Youth people oriented. Problems with security. (storage) Serious problems with management. It´s not all about parties, things need to work. My move out of the building cost me unnecessarily $200 extra and a lot of stress. I do not recommend.
I toured the Kaufmann’s apartments last Saturday and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Our tour started 20 minutes late with no updates from the staff. ( which was fine we weren’t rushing) While waiting in the lobby, we witnessed a resident trying to resolve an issue with a reserved elevator; her concerns were being completely dismissed by the staff. Be extremely careful before applying here and paying any fees. During my tour, I was told that the application and administrative fees would be returned within 24–48 hours after submitting my application. I asked for clarification twice to make sure I understood correctly, and each time I was reassured that the money would be returned. After I applied and paid, I was then told that the fees are actually non-refundable and only credited toward your account if you move forward with a lease. I inquired about leasing a 1-bedroom at Kaufmann’s, and Celine got in touch with me the same day I sent the email. She responded to all my questions during the weekend, and by the beginning of the week after I had already finalized everything. Later, I visited the property in person, and Celine gave me a tour of the amenities and the unit. She was very professional in covering all the details about the space and the experience of living at Kaufmann’s. Her knowledge of the area and the city proved super helpful to me.
