We love OT with Ms. Sandra. My daughter has a sensory processing disorder and Ms. Sandra has been wonderful for helping my daughter learn coping strategies and for helping give me suggestions on what to try and home and school. My daughter loves her sessions and sees them as play. She can't wait to come every week!
We can’t thank the therapists enough at Kaufman. We had never heard of apraxia until our son was diagnosed. Kaufman was so helpful in navigating what to do and how to do it. We’ve seen so much improvement in our son’s speech and motor skills in one short year. The therapists are so kind and helpful and truly love the kids they see. We are so grateful and can’t recommend Kaufman enough.
Maybe she was having a bad morning, but after speaking with Marla about getting our son, 8, evaluated for apraxia, the amount of negativity, tossing statistics about, and even questioning if I "looked up apraxia" merits this review so that everyone knows what I went through. I even had to pause the conversation a few timesto ask about her role and simply question whether we were even in the right place. This was extremely triggering, for a me, with a non-verbal child on the spectrum. A terrible interaction and phone call.
