I had the hot pastrami and when I tell you, it was delicious.
I am 77 and since a was very young my family always enjoyed Katz Delicatessen when in N.Y. That’s my First stop!
I did it for the experience but it wasn’t worth $25 for a sandwich. I had the brisket and I had to add salt because it really didn’t taste like anything. I’m glad I did it but I won’t do it again.
Brisket is out of this world, corned beef is to die for, and everything at Katz’s is delicious!

You can’t go wrong with the Pastrami sandwich. Best cooked Pastrami I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly.
The pastrami sandwich is the BEST EVER...this coming from a non pastrami fan! Of course, I had to try the Vanilla Egg Cream ...Oh My Goodness...AMAZING!
