Katrina got it RIGHT! Katrinas is AWSOME! The wait can be horrendous, even if you get there early, but it's completely worth it! Bring cash or check...they don't accept plastic. Don't be afraid to try anything on the menu. In 20 years, I can never remember having a bad meal here. Go around the side of the building, and there is much more parking. Since they opened that lot, finding a spot has become quite a lot easier. Be prepared to wait though. I can't remember the last time I went there and didn't have to wait for a table... read more
Fantastic Menu The menu is amazing. Everything is extremely tasty and the staff is wonderful. The tastes are superb. I guess that I would describe the menu as Californian with fresh fruit and avocado. My personal favorite is the Tuscan Scramble. The only downsides are the lack of parking and that everyone else knows about it. We try to eat there whenever we're in the area.
Why can't they be open seven days a week? Katrina's is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. (On those days, you must try the Breakfast Club nearby). On Wednesdays thru Sundays, I would rank "Katrina's" number one, with the Breakfast Club #2, as the best breakfast joint in Auburn. My daughter loves the pastrami sandwich, but I prefer Max's Deli. I love their burgers, very large juicy and satisfying. Don't even think about coming during the rush hours on Saturday and Sundays, there will be a one hour waiting time for a table.
Great Restaurant This restaurant has a fantastic brunch at really fair prices. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Its very loud and family friendly, a great place to take the kids on a Sunday afternoon
Fresh, fresh, fresh Interesting menu, great service, excellent food, only one problem - it is so small and hard to get a seat. But - it is worth the wait. So grab a newspaper or book (or get ready to have an interesting conversation with your mates) and stay hunger - it is worth the wait.
