I moved to NY in 2014 and it took me almost 10 years to find a PCP who actually listens. This past year I've been talking to multiple doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me and Katie was the first one to call it out. (Severe burnout.) I ended up taking leave from work and she made sure to follow up with me.
The doctor was polite but I feel I experienced a rushed appointment, during which all my primary concerns were not addressed. The doctor elected not to prescribe medication without a comprehensive understanding of my situation and tried to push me unto another doctor. When I asked for reconsideration, I was directed to schedule another telehealth appointment. My appointment for a new complex issue lasted all of 5 minutes. She ordered one test and incorrectly then referred me to a specialist for additional testing. The specialist was great and did note the test was not ordered properly or ran correctly so they couldn’t use it and I had to repeat. Provider NEVER followed up. I won’t be returning.
