I am not a patient of Kathy’s however , a family member was. My brother was at the beginnings of recovery from alcohol and all the demons that drinking helped hide were surfacing at an aggressive and frightening point which was threatening his sobriety. This is when he found Kathy who allowed him hours and hours of time and discussions to meet these demons head on. Break each one down to its core and work through them. I pretty much grew up in Kathy's office, I met her when I was 28 and newly sober, a lost, lonely, abused, uneducated young man. She has this amazing set of skills, mixed with strong caring ideas that work. She really knows how to listen. I felt very safe in her care.
