I thought we had a good first appointment. She has a good bedside manner and seemed to know what she was talking about. I liked her as a person and really didn’t want to write this review. After thinking about it for a few weeks, there’s really no choice to the matter since they have been sitting on my test results for over three weeks with no patient follow up. None. Dr Valenton has great bedside manner and was very friendly. I went specifically because I felt my hormones were really off. Unfortunately she ignored my issues. I have extreme heavy bleeding. I asked for hormone testing. She refused, she said she only does that if I missed a period. Another doctor helped me with the issue with a simple medication because it's due to estrogen dominance. Seeing her was a waste of my time and VERY DISSAPOINTING
I wasn't sure I was going to write a review, but I slept on it last night, and I still felt like I should this morning. Yesterday, I called Dr. Valenton's office after a referral from a friend and asked if she was taking new patients. Jenny (the receptionist) said she indeed was. Mind you I'm 12 weeks pregnant and looking for an obstetrician. My regular OB/GYN is lovely but unfortunately doesn't go past the first trimester, and I explained this ALL to Jenny up front.
