I am new to town and was told to come here for a great meal. I had no idea it would be the best meal I have probably ever eaten in a restaurant and my waistline will tell you I've eaten in plenty of restaurants in big cities and in small towns. The filet mignon literally melted in my mouth, and the lobster and shrimp stuffed ravioli which accompanied it was out of this world. In town to take little brother out to nice meal while away at college and heard good things so we thought we'd test it out. So thrilled we did! Great food, amazing wine and nice experience. Definitely coming back when I'm in town again!
We went there this past Tuesday night for a birthday dinner and had less than average service. We arrived early so went up to the bar and waited to order drinks from the bartender. He seemed busy so it was a little wait, but he was courteous and served us when he was able. After receiving them we went to sit down at our table at our reservation time. 15 minutes later, we hadn't been greeted by a server so we went up to the host stand to ask. Wonderful ! (as always) ... House cabernet is good. Dinner was great. Our server was very nice and attentive. Definitely a regular spot to visit when we're in town.
They have a great menu so a night out guarantees a good meal. Atmosphere and settings is very nice. Sadly the closing of the evening was a failure. Was sent home with a small Styrofoam container crammed with my leftovers. It did not hold in sauce so arrived home with a coat that is now ruined and stained and trying to clean up the sauce from the floor of the vehicle.
