Dr. Matin keeps herself at the forefront of dental technology. She is a lifelong learner. She is courteous, helpful, and goes the extra mile in taking care of my teeth.
Dr Matin is an absolutley incredible dentist who I trust enough to have recommended to my friends and family. She took over the practice of my former dentist and after meeting her, I never once thought of changing to another practice. She cares for and knows her patients individually and is always availalble if you have questions. I visit for cleanings every six months ( because the remind me :). I couldn't have made a better choice and I would recommend her without hesitation.
Professional and friendly. Always available during emergencies. You can really see that she cares a lot. Highly recommended!
Very friendly, efficient, ready to explain all procedures, listens to client, nice with children. Didn't have major procedure with her, but semi-annual check-ups and teeth cleaning are a pleasure in the friendly atmosphere of her practice.
Dr. Matin is very professional, pleasent to work with, and gentle. She is also fair and honest on the appraisal of what the patient really needs. She takes the time to understand the issues that need to be addressed and makes resonable recomendations.
The staff in this office is very friendly and helpful, and I have had no problems getting a timely appointment when necessary. Dr. Matin has given me three fillings without any complications; however, I believe she may have missed a cavity during one of my checkups which resulted in me needing a root canal 8 months later. My insurance covered most of the costs, but I would recommend visiting a different dentist if you are uninsured, as the fees are relatively high (as are most dentists' in the palo alto area). Dr. Matin has provided general dental care for me and my three children.. She is pleasant and gentle with our children and she has successfully treated each them and me with fillings, and genral dental care. I believe Dr. Matin's demeanor and thoughtful, conservative approach to dentistry are her strengths. The office is not much to speak of, but we don't really care. Dr. Matin seems reasonably priced and accepts many health/dental insurance plans.
Dr. Matin is very gentel and friendly, I highly recommend this office, the saff is great. Had dental emergency she was there right away to take care of me.
Hygienists are great! However, it's hit-or-miss with the dentists. I had one dentist at this office who said I had to come back to fill a cavity, and then when I did, the other dentist said I didn't have a cavity after all, and it's a good thing he checked before he started drilling! Yikes; that's not a mistake I want a dentist to make. My hygienist, however, has been great-- and was even the one who read an x-ray (no dentist being in the office at the time), and found out I needed a root canal.
