Service was FANTASTIC. Truly wonderful staff! We had Nicholas as our waiter and he was awesome!!! Food was just okay… Steak came out warm and not hot and so quickly became cold. Steak plates were cold. White Lotus sushi roll was very tasty. Crispy rice was very yummy. Brussel sprouts were not tasty and the “charred” part of them tasted like chemicals.
I have always loved Katana and the food this time did not disappoint. We had the shishito peppers, lamb chop, crunchy tuna and the tuna jalapeño roll and everything was absolutely delicious and as always southern cali always comes through with the freshest fish. The service we received from Nicholas V as well as our encounter with the hostess was great, but the reason for 3 instead of 4 stars is due to the fact that when we got our bill, I noticed that they had added on a 4.5% WEHO labor surcharge because they do not pay the... read more
