Very courteous, very professionall
I met Dr. Chekuri several years ago when I went to the ER for the first time I experienced atrial fibrillation. I continued to see him afterwards and have been extremely satisfied with the care and treatment he has provided. He is straightforward and honest - I guess I could say I trust him with my life! His staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful and I really enjoy the convenience of using his Bay Area office. I would highly recommend Dr. Chekuri.
Dr. Chekuri is very thorough as a physician. He cares about his patients. His staff is quick to ensure that your prescription questions are answered in a timely manner. His staff is professional and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Chekuri.

Dr. Chekuri did an excellent job in getting me in for a Stress Test following my chest pain. Stress Test was done on time and the tech Donny did an outstanding job. I do not have the results of my test yet though and it has been 4 days. I know I must need some further treatment, or I would not continue to have deep pains in my chest. I thought I would get a call by now.
I remember meeting Dr. Chekuri for the first time while he made hospital rounds. He walked around with with extreme arrogance which annoyed some hospital staff . Some even commented verbally in dismay loudly but for me at the time i was highly impressed with this cardiologist .... for you see i didn't want someone who would tell me what I wanted to hear. I wanted a talented professional who is confident with my heart care to tell me the truth! He's been my cardiologist! Choose wisely. I did

Dr. Chekuri is a great cardiologist. He has saved my life twice now and he has done all of my procedures with precision and professional care. He is direct and straightforward with his communication. If your looking for a cardiologist who will "sugarcoat " maybe you should keep looking. I highly recommend Dr. Chekuri to my family and friends . He's one of the best cardiologist in our area by far!

Dr. Chekuri has been my cardiologist for five years now. I met him on unfavorable terms....after having a heart attack. Dr. Chekuri credentials and experience is highly desirable for an successful cardiologist. His communication is direct and straightforward which I respect. Dr. Chekuri has performed both my procedures with skilled precision. Dr. Chekuri comes highly recommended to my family and friends.
Refused to call me by my name even after I asked him to which made me feel like an inanimate object. Told me what procedure I needed to have done but also told me Medicare wouldn't pay for it. I sought a second opinion and Medicare paid for the procedure w/o any problem. Will not be returning to this doctor. Wait time in waiting room was usually in the 30 minute range.
A pleasure to deal with. Straightforward and direct.
