I feel very blessed to have Dr. Chekuri as my cardiologist. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025 I saw Dr. Chekuri here in my home town of Rockport, TX. After an electrocardiogram determined that I had an atrial fibrillation, Dr. Chekuri told me he had an opening to perform a cardioversion the following Friday in Corpus Christi. The cardioversion corrected the abnormality, and my heart rate decreased from 125/130 bpm to normal range. I'm amazed at the improvement in how I feel. Thank you, Dr. Chekuri!

Long wait time. Front desk staff was rude, unprepared when referred to office they had not requested any medical records so appt was for nothing. Called this morning to ask a question and again staff was rude and basically hung up on me. If you can’t feel comfortable with and trust your healthcare providers what’s the point?

It was not memorable. Doctor asked me the same questions that were answered by me on the new patient paperwork. I had an ekg performed, which after 2 weeks the Doctor has not reviewed it. The Staff had not requested any my records when sent a referral. The visit accomplished nothing.

Dr. Chekuri has saved my life for over 9 years now. He is direct and upfront with his patients. Clearly one would want a cardiologist who doesn't sugar coat anything and who is highly skilled in his profession. If you want one of the best cardiologist in this area Dr. Chekuri is the one!
I really don't understand how this doctor has good reviews. Dr. Sanchez was halfway out the door before I could even ask my first question every time I saw him. When I finally complained to his staff about the lack of time he took with me, he took no ownership, made me feel uncomfortable about it, and seemed annoyed that I stuck up for myself. Terrible person , doesn’t care. My wife is dying, she calls his office and he doesn’t reply. Staff is awful.
Very friendly staff, everything was super clean and wait time was minimal. Dr Sanchez was very pleasant and explained everything very well.
DR SANCHEZ IS A GREAT DOCTOR. HE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE TAKES THE NECESSARY TIME TO EXAMINE YOU AND THEN EXPLAIN HIS FINDINGS SO YOU KNOW HOW AND WHY HE MADE HIS DIAGNOSIS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING HIS SERVICES.
