The room was spotless, and the location was excellent—safe, within walking distance of the University of Pennsylvania, and close to many great restaurants. I was very pleased with my stay. If I return to Philadelphia, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The host was also incredibly friendly and responsive, answering my messages promptly whenever I had questions.

Their website says they're available 24/7, but that's not really the case. When I got to the property, there were two people at the entrance who tried to get in—they were trying to peek at the code—just as I was unlocking the door. I sent a message asking for help to confirm if they were guests, but I didn't hear back. I stayed for a week, and I never heard back from them. There are a few things that need improvement, like the bathroom door handle, which was about to fall off.

My first day here... park one block away in the parking lot 3800 Market Street cost is $21.00 for 12 hours. The room is small but enough room to do want you need to do and go out in the city and have fun!

I booked a Queen room for US$1,721 for 5 nights in May 2026 (University graduations). Got room #3D: a vastly different room as shown in the any and all pics in the Kasa de Niche website: no night tables or night lights, no small sofa, no pics or wall decor as shown in the website. The queen size bed against the wall, no space for one of the two guests to walk to in or out of it. The #3D room looked "tired" and worned out. But it was quiet, particularly at night, which was great. And the bathroom was similar to the pics shown... read more
