I was referred to Dr. Carr while I was in the hospital with dog bites to both my hands. (this was a tragic accident with a family pet) I saw him as an outpatient and he performed surgery the next day. Dr. Carr not only addressed my physical wounds and injuries, he was kind and compassionate and knew I was struggling. He has the best bedside manner I have ever witnessed with a provider (and I am a nurse). I have a finger joint that i was unable to straighten out. He gave me a shot in the joint & now my finger works again. Dr. Carr is very compassionate & explains what is wrong & how to fix it.
Dr. Carr performed an emergency surgery on my broken and dislocated wrist. He is a caring and highly skilled surgeon, and he was readily available for my follow up as well. I credit him with getting my right hand back to full functionality. I highly recommend him!
I visited Dr Carr twice in 2019. My diagnosis was Dupuytren Contracture. He handed me a piece of paper on the disease and told me to come back when it is worse. I did come back one more time - I could not make a fist with my left hand - making the hand pretty useless. Still not bad enough. I left feeling hopeless as I can feel the disease progressing everyday. Dr. Karston Carr was very thorough and caring and I highly recommend him for “release” surgery. He did both of my hands and I’m completely satisfied with the outcomes.
Dr. Carr was excellent. He spent the time with me and explained everything and answered all my questions. He took out all of the lump in my hand.
Dr Carr did some excellent work for me. I was having issues with numbness in both hands loss of grip cramping and when I first visited him because of my worse symptoms we started with a dorsal release on the right hand which started some relief of problems which was amazing but still had plenty of other issues as far as carpel tunnel in both hands. Dr. Carr was very pleasant, informative, and flexible with his treatments according to my needs and desires. My surgery experience was excellent and I as playing my guitar like a pro the day I got my stitches out. By following his after-surgery instructions, I experienced I had no need for pain medications.
Dr. Carr has performed wrist surgery for me from a tennis fall and I am very pleased with the whole procedure and the end result.
