She gives me the best eye care I've ever experienced. A great eye surgeon. She shows care and concern for her patients. She goes out of her way to care for her patients.
When I experienced blurred vision in one eye, my family doctor sent me to Dr. Russo. She ran a myriad of tests, but couldn't determine why I was having blurry vision in only one eye. She didn't stop at her tests. She suggested a carotid ultrasound, where they found 95% blockage and had surgery 2 days later to remove it. If Dr. Russo had not been thinking outside of the box and suggested an alternate test, I could have had a stroke at any minute. She always goes above and beyond for her patients
Doctor Laird Russo did wonderful job and she is very friendly. I highly recommend her. Louisiana Eye and Laser is a wonderful place to go.
This doctor stands out in her field. She performed the refraction exam herself and actually had me participate by adjusting the knob a bit myself in order to find just the exact best correction. I find that most ophthalmologists these days have technicians do the refraction exam, and, in my over 50 years of wearing glasses, she is the first to actually involve me in the mechanics of that exam. She provided excellent information regarding my vision issue and instilled trust in this patient.
Total of three hours in the office but got a lot done. Time spent with Dr. Russo was very good. I would recommend her to anyone.
