Honest as the day is long, Karl is a rare find. He’s been in the business a long time, is very knowledgeable, won’t try to upcharge you like the big companies do, and values his customers. His pricing is fair and you get high quality work.
Karl is great to work with, he keeps his commitments, does a great job and he stands behind his work.
Living out of state makes me worry about my senior parents when people like the owner of this business try to take advantage of them. Less than fifteen minutes into the service call, he proudly told them that they needed a new, $10,000 unit. He also told them that they needed specific refrigerant, but they're unit was so old that it would be impossible to find. He took what seemed like 15 seconds to look at our AC and told us without hesitation that we needed a new unit. He disconnected everything and just left it like that. He also told us the freon was almost impossible to get for an AC unit that old (17 years). I asked him if they financed new units. He said no, but we take credit cards. He's supported our systems for at least 10 years now and has always provided practical solutions to each problem. My latest issue was our main 5-ton system struggling to keep temps down during our cooker months in the summer. We had a leak in the coolant line that he addressed and got the charge back to normal.
