My Husband and I see Dr.Jacobs and have been very impressed. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. I have a serious condition that was identified by her and I was able to get to a specialist for treatment. What I have is identified with PCP's in less than 10% of the cases, due to it being so commonly overlooked. I'm very happy with Dr.Jacobs and have recommended her to all of my family and friends.
Saw these reviews when I googled to find Dr. Jacobs's new # and was shocked. My daughter and I found Dr. J to be the MOST thorough, compassionate, intelligent family care provider in all of Hillsborough. My daughter had been misdiagnosed with a horrible condition at a specialist's ofc. I took her to Dr. J upon the rec of several physicians in town. Dr. J quickly assessed my daughter with the utmost compassion and made the correct dx (monoand trtmt plan. (I work in the legal/medical field.)
Dr Jacobs was negligent in her care and treatment of my condition. Critical lab values indicated a life threatening situation yet she stated on one occasion, she missed seeing the labs because of a death in her family. On another occasion she failed to notice critical lab results altogether. My physical condition worsened and my health continued to decline, yet she failed to refer or hospitalize me. To this day, I still have no definitive diagnosis.
One of the most incompetent Dr's I have ever used. Bad habit of blaming others for her mistakes. Very different once she walks out of the exams room.
She was excellent at first. Soon discovered she always has to consult another Dr. Barely listens to what you have to say. Half listens and rushes you through. Can only handle one issue and if complex she will be oblivious.
