Fantastic Doctor and Staff. Not sure about the lower reviews on this site. No way any of that has been my experience, ever!
If you want a truly invested doctor who seeks actual solutions to medical problems, look elsewhere. If you have colds, allergies, the flu, just normal type things she would probably be okay. Just don't expect any meaningful, thoughtful care for anything more complex. And expect your knowledge and understanding of your past medical history and your own body to be minimized or discarded as valueless. So very disappointed in this doctor.
This is the best most caring doctor we have ever had. She listens and explains everything and really cares. She makes sure all our questions have been answered and gives you the time you need. We will never change. We know she will always take great care of us. We just love her. Her staff is also excellent. Highly recommend this practice!!!
It was my first visit and I waited almost 2 hrs. Then a resident dr came in I asked if I was going to see Dr. Jacobs and she said maybe at the end of the visit if necessary. I wasn’t expecting a resident especially since it was my first visit. She asked some health questions then left the room to talk to the dr and I waited about 20 mins and no one returned so now I’m there 2 hrs and haven’t accomplished anything. Dr. Jacobs takes the time to listen to our questions and takes quick action to run tests and find a solution to keep me and by wife healthy. We highly recommend this doctor that has a passion to help others.
Dr. Shannon was very thorough at my first appointment. She took time to learn about me and my medical history. She referred me to other medical professionals for bloodwork and other needed tests. I received follow up calls regarding those test results. I found Dr. Shannon to be professional and personable. I highly recommend her.
Most recently became established with Dr Shannon as a new patient. She is fantastic! Very patient, understanding and thorough. I’ve never left the office confused as she explains everything in detail. Joanna her nurse is also amazing!
This doctor coerced me into a vaccine and a medicine that should have never been given to me. Terrible patient manners, and very belittling. Heard her discussing me with the staff, and laughing. Asked for my notes to take to a new, competent doctor, and was given incomplete notes. No mention of several interactions, and no mention of the vaccine. I have never been well since being her patient. These physicians need to stop gaslighting and take their oath seriously.
As a new patient I felt my office visit went very well. She spent time dealing with my health issues. I would recommend her to someone looking for a doctor.
