10 minute visit, never went over blood work results. An attitude pervades of disinterest.
Over the past three years I have found Dr. Jacobs to be a strong patient advocate that coordinates with other specialists to ensure that treatments and medications are coordinated. She is personable, detail oriented and seems well acquainted with a wide variety of prescriptions and non prescription remedies. She also listens and provides me with the time I need to review all of my concerns. I have had very good experiences with her and her staff, PA's, nurses, Techs, etc.
Dr. Jacobs always makes you feel comfortable when you visit. She is warm in her approach and takes time to listen and get to know you. She makes suggestions rather than telling you what you must do for follow-up.
My doctor listened, explained & came up with a plan. Plus she was familiar with my complex medical issues. I couldn’t be happier.
Great initial visit
Discussion of results of a blood test. She spent time explaining the results and answering questions I had. I was very pleased with my appointment.
We've seen Dr. Jacobs twice so far. Recently switched to Dr. Jacobs as previous PCP moved. The last doctor was east of I-75 and we now live in West Bradenton. My brother has cerebral palsy and other conditions. Dr. Jacobs is friendly and kind and thus far takes a conservative approach to helping him manage pain with therapy and exercise rather than writing a prescription and calling it a day.
No good experience with her a continuous disappointment each visit .....rushed appointments and poor listener, we both agreed it wasn't a good fit
If you want a truly invested doctor who seeks actual solutions to medical problems, look elsewhere. If you have colds, allergies, the flu, just normal type things she would probably be okay. Just don't expect any meaningful, thoughtful care for anything more complex. And expect your knowledge and understanding of your past medical history and your own body to be minimized or discarded as valueless. So very disappointed in this doctor.
