Great place, nice decoration, fantastic food (Mufaletta), Tried a pilot brew on Memorial Day that showed great promise, enjoyed a porter too. Patio is nice, sunny and dog-friendly, definitely a place I'll be going back to!

Awesome place, people, food and beer! It was well worth the drive from Milwaukee!
The beer is good. But, don't plan on getting food. We arrived today ( a Sunday) at 1:30. There was one table of people inside eating (already had their food) and 8 tables outside with people,including us (2 already had food). So this leaves only 6 tables potentially ordering. The kitchen was so backed up that it was going to take an hour to get any food, including just chips and dip. The "Night call" smoked Porter is the best, on Nitro is unbelievable! The soup is always outstanding. Such a gem.
I cannot figure this place out. I LOVE their beer, and it's one of my favorite food spots too, but lately the service is off. In recent weeks, we've gone and the staff was bickering, eating, and just now we sat there for almost 20 minutes with no follow up. No food order ever happened. My husband got a beer, but I never did. There were 3 bartenders (they were hanging with friends and eating) and 11 people at the bar. No comprendo. Had a great time and the tour was awesome!!! Can't wait to go back.
My husband and I stopped in as we like to try different micro brews. We also had lunch. The beer was good. The food we had was good too. Liked the locally sourced meat. Didn't come with fries, but a tasty house spinach salad. We will be back the next time we are in Madison.
