Purchased an engine for a Rav 4. Received it and installed it. Once it was started it rattled very bad. It was also not timed right.. had to have the camshafts re timed 6 hrs labor. Still made noise while running. had to remove pan to replace balance shafts that were defective. The sent the shafts but would not do anything about Labor cost. They are not going to help with anything labor cost even if there is a defect or problem with an engine. Cheap price, you get what you pay for. Dub standard service. We owned a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe which blew an engine. I contacted kar king and afte sometime the engine was deliver to my mechanic and installed. When I picked it up there was a noticeable tic tic coming from the engine compartment, I asked the mechanic what the tic tic was and he’s said it should work itself out when the engine brake in. Kar King sold me a rebuilt engine that was not properly rebuilt. It has a engine code of P0022 which is indicative of Timing Chain and/or Camshaft phaser problems. The engine rattles, has less power, and has very poor gas mileage. On a full tank I'm only getting 160 miles when my old engine would get atleast 280-300 miles per fill-up.
