As an orthpedic hand and upper extremity surgeon, I first like to understand how my patients' medical issues affect their lives, including everything from their job to their hobbies. I spend some time understanding the history of their presenting problem and then after a careful examination, I try to diagnose the problem. In my practice, it is important to me that patients understand their diagnosis, so that together we can have an informed discussion of how to best address their problem. I find the hand and upper extremity ... read more

Dr. Goyal is one of the very best if not the best physician I have experienced over my 67 years. And I speak as someone who has survived aggressie cancer, chronic gastric issues, and lifelong pulmonary concerns in addition to osteoarthritis in both hands. He excels not only as an expert medical clinician but shows sincere compassion, empathy, and concern for his patients. A very effective communicator, he generously invests time with patients to insure understanding of their medical condition.
Dr. Goya and the whole stuff were great. Would recommend him to anyone who would need this can of treatment. I have complete confidence that my hand will be back to normal in no thanks to Dr. Goyal’s excellent work
Dr Goyal seem to be rushed during the appointments. I feel Dr Goya blotched a five minute office procedure that cost me not just additional money but also additional pain and anguish. I am now going to another Dr for help as I has now develop problems that might be relate to the
Dr. Goyal is very professional.. The best in the business.
Dr. Goya has always been very happy, nice, clean, professional, courteous, informative. I could go on but he is awesome. Thank you for your care Kay Walters
I'm a local physician and when my elderly father (a retired physician) hurt his hand, I asked around to see who I should send him to. The overwhelming answer was Dr.Goyal at OSU. He was able to see my father quickly and diagnosed his injury and treated him conservatively. My father's injury healed well and he was very happy with his care.
The appointment was brief. I'd obviously already seen my primary care doctor. Placement of my IV had caused severe pain in my lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve. Dr. Goyal told me that there wasn't a nerve where I had my IV placed...but the placement is in the precise location of the nerve according to my GP & the hospital. No tests were ordered, which was the entire purpose of the visit. If lying, or that ignorant of basic anatomy is a mystery, but he certainly isn't a doctor to see for help.
He was very rude. Didn't even try to listen. He cut my conversation in between and said bye. He is one of the rudest doctor's I have ever met.
Was very condescending. Cut me off several times and openly questioned my pain/condition. Seemed more interested in impressing the two females (one a resident and the other a med student) who were also present for the exam.
