Great relaxed atmosphere – Being a first time Mom there are tons of things I don't know: what is normal, what is not, what needs treatment or what will go away by itself. I love that Dr. Kangos (and his wife) are conservative on prescribing medicines. If it is something that it only needs time to heal, he'll tell you, That way you won't end up bombarding your baby with creams, medicines and stuff and can cause side effects. I went to him because my cousin used to take her kids there. Now I take mine. I highly recommend him!
run away – I found Dr. Kangos to be arrogant and impersonal. Linda is pleasant, but that is it. I did not like the way he treated my daughter. He was cold and rude. We went in for a well-baby check, and because we asked him a question about reflux he billed us for two office visits with the reasoning being that reflux issues go beyond what is covered in a well baby exam. We just asked him a question. If we had been told beforehand that one question outside of the scope of a well-baby exam was going to cost us $200 we would h... read more
Dr Kango office is a terrible nightmare between the staff, patient care and billing no thanks, bad bad nightmare – There are multiple reasons not to see this doctors office. My son sufferered from colic and reflux at around 1 mos. basically I was passified in that babies spitup and are fussy but his symptoms and crying was beyond normal.Being the Ill research myself type I spent arduous hours on the web spoke to kangos about it he basicaly dismissed me. I was so frustarted I read that I should try and see a specialist I did an... read more
Jumps to conclusions, not systematic/thorough – I brought my son in for his 2-year-old checkup. He does not enjoy going to the doctor, so he was screaming and acting cranky. Dr. Kangos came in to do the examination and commented on his screaming. He asked a lot of questions, but was jumping from topic to topic a lot. He never, during the whole appointment, asked if I had any questions. He then told me that he thought my son needed to see a specialist because he seemed to be very developmentally delayed and needed to have his... read more
Great Experiences – I've been taking my children to Dr. Kangos and his wife since my nine year old daughter was born. I now have a 3 years old as well. I've had nothing but great experiences with the staff and Dr's at Kangos Pediatrics. It is so nice to walk in and be called by our first names by the staff. I've heard others talk about going to large clinics and after hours where you don't know who will see your children. I really enjoy the one on one attention and the days and hours they are open as well. When both parents ... read more
Best Pediatrician – We have used Dr. Kangos for over 10 years and absolutely love him and his wife, Linda, who is the nurse practioner. We have 3 kids ages 10, 8, and 4. Dr. Kangos and Linda are both super thorough and they always put your kids best interest at heart. They have same day appointments and are open on Saturdays to fit your busy schedule. You will always get a call back when requested and you actually get to talk to Dr. Kangos or Linda which is unheard of these days. We have even received calls after hours when ... read more
excellent pediatrician – Dr. Kangos's entire staff is wonderful. I have 2 children (3 years and 6.5 months) who have many appointments between them. I have never been told we could not be seen that day. Dr. Kangos, the nurse practitioners, nurses and office staff all show genuine concern for every patient. My daughter actually gets excited to go to the doctor because "Nurse Karen is so nice!" They listen to and respect my parental concerns, especially with regard to the vaccine schedule of my infant son. I would recommend th... read more
very caring and highly recommended – I was referred to Dr. Kangos by a friend in 1998 after my son was born. I still go to Kangos Pediatrics almost 10 years later and now with 2 children- and the friend who sent me there is still going to him with her 3 children now. Dr. Kangos and his nurse practioner (and wife), Linda Kangos have always been very caring, concerned and capable. He has the best nurses and front office staff in town. My son, now 9 and an expert unfortunately at being poked and prodded, promises that nurse Kar... read more
Great care and service – I have brought in my granndkids on a few occasions and have had a very positive experience each time. The office is clean and orderly ; the physicians are caring and thorough; the nurses are friendly and efficient. I've been able to get an appointment without a problem and have never had an extensive waiting time before being seen.
