I finally found the perfect diamond ring at Kami’s Jewelry in Downtown Los Angeles. After hitting several shops in the Jewelry District, this place stood out because the staff actually listened to what I wanted for my budget instead of just upselling. The quality of the diamond is incredible, and the setting is flawless—you can tell they take craftsmanship seriously. If you're looking for an engagement ring or any high-end piece in DTLA, save yourself the headache and just come here.
I went to the jewelry district in DTLA looking for wedding bands. I went to Kami's stall after a friend recommended going to him for a consultation and couldn't have been happier with the results. He was friendly, knowledgeable, had great prices, and didn't pressure us over anything. I ended up getting a gold band for my wife that goes great with her engagement ring, and he even gave us a complimentary resizing to make sure it fit perfectly!
When looking for a diamond, you look for the best quality you can. Only EGL diamonds are sold here, and at GIA prices! They are overgraded, and over priced. I bought a 2ct, G VS2 and paid 17,500, for an EGL. It is actually a J, SI2. I have tried to get the situation rectified and Kami has refused to do so. I suggest you find somewhere else to go unless you want to overpay for an EGL.
