RecommendedKaiser has been very supportive and responsive during Covid. I’ve had several email exchanges, phone and video appts and gotten RX overnight delivery.
They do not update you on your loved ones condition. It took me 2 hours & 15 minutes yesterday to find out how my mother was. 430 in the afternoon I finally got an update but I had to call repeatedly & wait on hold for long periods of time. The nurses have been snotty and this morning she just wouldn’t answer her phone after telling me to call back. I do not recommend anyone take their loved ones here at this time. They have not figured out how to deal with this epidemic.
I’ve been a member of kaiser for 30 years. Today I visited someone at south San Francisco kaiser. They are getting good care but...the room and facilities were not clean. Coffee drips and surgical gloves tossed on the room of their floor after surgery, black mold on window sills and curtains, filthy floors and baseboards. I do judge a hospital by these things. Thankful I go to Marin or San Francisco Kaiser.
My family and I would like to thank the entire staff - from admitting, to the nurses, and to Dr. Li for the excellent care my dad received during his surgery last week. Each and every one of them was courteous, professional, and made my dad’s experience as comfortable as they possibly could! Everyone presented themselves in a positive, professional manner. A special thanks to Dr. Li for providing my dad w/ excellent care! Our experience at this facility was of the quickest and of the best we have ever encountered!
