Was interested in getting meds to help with overwhelming anxiety, but was told I had to do online educational group first. Then another group, then another. Groups are online and you are dropped into the group, not at the beginning but at whatever week the group is on when there's room for you. Because I don't trust Kaiser's mental health services, I have no support in mental health services. It's too difficult to get there anyways as Walnut Creek has very busy roads. The psychologist that I was assigned to was no help at all. He's always insisting that I do a group therapy that I refuse to do as I want to have therapy alone.
Call in holding time is too long. We keep calling and no one answers. We are placed on hold, and then kicked off after 12 minutes, sent to the voicemail, only to be told that the mailbox is full. Tough luck for us. Glad our call is important to them.
