My heart is heavy hearing of the passing of Dr KAHANE. I’ve been seeing him for 15+ years he was the absolute best human being ever. He truly cared and helped me so much. back in the day when he’d write prescriptions he’d always write one for a special vacation for me to go on. I’ll miss you my dear friend love you Dr KAHANE
I’ve been seeing Doctor Kahane for over two years. He has been nothing but wonderful. Prior to Dr. Kahane I had trouble with different providers around the valley and I did not always get the type of personal care that I needed. There is such a shortage of psychiatrist so it’s hard to find decent ones. I need my medical records for a professional endeavor, and I cannot obtain my medical records for the life of me. If I don't hear back from his staff, I will miss out on a professional opportunity.
He is a nice person but doesn't explain medications or really listen to what I have to say at all. And my meds are never called in on time . I believe it's more about the money then anything else ??
Personally Dr. Kahane is very nice. Unfortunately I have consistent problems getting medication refills. Calls go unanswered sometimes leaving me without medication. I am forced to find a new Dr.
Treated me professionaly.
My appointments last 3-4 minutes and there is no guidance whatsoever. My medications don't get sent after appointments and no one returns my calls when I leave messages following up. This practice is unreliable and unsafe.
After years of treatment for Bipolar Disorder we found out he was simply prescribing prescriptions and charging fees. We needed an FMLA signed and found out he doesnt do paperwork. What? What is a prescription? A Bill? Only paperwork for his own benefit. We thought he cared about patients. Don't kid yourself with this guy.
I saw Dr. Kahane for many years and never experienced anything negative in his treatment. He is a psychiatrist who prescribed medications for mental distress. He is NOT a psychologist who listens to your problems to give guidance. So it seems that many of the negative reviews are people wanting him to give verbal advice which is not his job. He is in the medical treatment field for mental illness and not a counsellor. He evaluates mental illness and prescribes meds for treatment.
