funky cafe Great coffee and delicious shakes! The atmosphere is funky, and laid back and this is reflected in the employees. It's a cool place to go and hang out to have a drink. They have food, but it's nothing special and seems that their focus is more on the drinks.
Love it when I can afford it. I'm not going to lie: I love this little funky, cool coffee shop. The drink menu is HUGE and there are tons of creative, unique, DELICIOUS drinks on there. Try the Azteca or Ancho Chile Mocha. YUMMY. The food is also pretty great, the normal kind of stuff you would expect of a coffee shop, but good quality, plentiful, fresh, homemade, and with a few delicious twists and options. Definitely a place to check out I have been going to this place since I was in high school, so its been about 10 years now. The coffee drinks are fantastic, hands down some of the best I've ever had. Nothing special There is nothing spectacular here. The coffee and the foods are just OK. They try to create a bohemian style atmosphere, but the key word is try. This place does a lot of advertising so I think that's part of their popularity and of course the students from nearby Northwestern University flock here. I have definitely had better, I think it's more about the convenience than anything else.
